Kerosene alternative
Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried to spin with this fuel called "clean kerosene alternative" or something like that. It is available in home depots in new york. I remember purchasing regular kerosene in a Home Depot in CT, but idk if they are allowed to sell it in Home Depots in NY.

I believe you're talking about Klean Heat. It's supposed to be like Lamp Oil without the smoke, making it good for indoors. It's also supposed to burn at a lower temp than white gas, and burn as long as Lamp oil - which sounds awesome to me. I haven't gotten to personally burn with it, but I'm like 75% sure the Home Depot's here in NYC carry it.

does it work for fire poi? I saw it at my local home depot, which made me curious. Does it leave sticky residue like lamp oil? wonder what chemical its based off.

Yeah, I've heard only good things.
And as stated on that thread you linked, you should try calling them and saying you're a fire performer and you'd like to try their fuel - there's a potential 6 free gallons of the stuff, and free stuff is awesome. :P

Does anyone have any experience breathing with this fuel? I'm allergic to paraffin lamp oil and I have been looking for an alternative for a few months now...
