Ooh, I'm so looking forward to it. Right now I'm stuck at "basic stalls". ;-)
I think she'll be referring to Nick's original tutorials on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d3U5PdTbsE

Right, duh.
What do you all consider the non basic stalls then? I've thought about this before but I want to hear what you think before I start rambling. Or maybe it would be best to just go start a new tread in the poi category on the full spectrum of stalls. Any one care to joint me over there?

Start a new tread and I'll join you. I'm just trying to learn using the youtube-videos and waiting for the lessons to be available here instead. Right now there's a gap between lesson 5 and 8 on youtube so I only know how to do the three beat wave and the butterfly and maybe one more thing.
Annette - You may want to check out Nick Woolsey's tutorials in the interim while our Nick's (if I may refer to him as that!) tutorials are still in production. The site's http://www.playpoi.com. He's a fantastic spinner - he tends to teach the benefits of tight wall plane work and flowers rather than the tech-poi a lot of people favour. It's his tuts from which I picked up a lot of the basics.
