The Fire Garden

Poi Lessons - Videos - Articles

Hey there, my fire hoop was recently stolen, which is upsetting, but not so much because I wasn't really happy with it and was considering using it as a prototype to create my own. I have a performance coming up next month and would like to have a hoop, i've looked at firegroove and hooping.org and was just curious if anyone has one that they really like, who they got it from and what some pros and cons of your experiences might be. Any input would be great. happy hooping :)

The Fire Mecca Fire Hoops have a lot of options. Not a lot of colors right now, but more practical options, such as 3 or 6 sections, "blank" or taped, two different kinds of wicks, two different types of wicks (flexible or rigid), and three different diameters. Pretty customizable right off the shelf.

Cosmic Fire!! www.cosmicfiredance.com I LOVE my hoop, the flexible spokes and customizable diameter is wonderful! And it's super light!

I've heard a lot of great things about spinsterz as well!

think of these things when buying a hoop

travel options, is having a collapsible what you need, in my case I had to have mine collapsible
what weight do you like in a hoop
i think flexible spines are a MUST

Kendra, I see that your post is quite some time ago and I just joined this network. If you haven't gotten your hoop already, I'll kick you $15 off your hoop if you get one from my site. Email me for a discount code.

Thanks,

I recommend getting the lightest one you can. The stuff you can do with light ones is amazing. I went to wildfire and someone had them, though they were not taped... just white but I loved it. It was right near fire mecca/trick concepts, but I don't see them on either of their sites.

Other ideas are this FIRE/LED HOOP http://www.trickconcepts.com/32-LED-Fire-and-Glow-hoop-P185C9.aspx holy crap.
