Poi Lessons - Videos - Articles

So I'm looking for some quality sock poi for practice sessions, as I'm a bit tired of the stage balls with circle links in them that I use with leather handles. I already have some of the "Foxy" Poi from HoP, and I'm not diggin' their extreme elasticity too much. A little elasticity is good, but they're just too much.

I was wondering what kinds of recommendations you guys would have? It's much appreciated!

Last Sunday on the roof, I used jasmine's pair of LED sock poi, she said they were from Dube. The balls were heavier and the socks much thicker and less elastic than the foxies from HOP. They felt really solid (I think I was weaving 11 beats with it), but are way more expensive than HOP, and I don't think you can buy just the socks on their own.

You can always try... you know... actual tubesocks.

Target! Goto the womens panty hose section....they usually have some pretty bad A colored socks around there.

Derek: completely true. I went to a goodwill and they had an entire box of leggings from Target. I cut the leggings to make 2 socks, filled each one with one cup of rice, and tied them off. They RULED. Seriously, they had the perfect amount of stretch and weight.
