I think I know what you're talking about.
Either you mean 2 handed-spiral wraps with your hands moving in a circle to make it either inspin or antispin - OR - you mean the single-handed spiral wraps that was popularized by Ronan
I think if you clarified which it'd be easier to help out. :P
yeah, that one fried my brains for a while.
A lot of it really depends on what kind of handles you use, since in Wall plane with the poi spinning in the same direction (lets say they're spinning clockwise), the poi in your right hand begins the spiral wrap in the crotch of your thumb/pointer, where the poi in your left hand begins the spiral wrap at the blade of your hand (running down the pinky).
The result is that both poi are spinning clockwise, and both finish wrapping at the same time.
The timing of when you begin wrapping is also indicative of at what point/petal of the anti-spin flower it finishes wrapping/stalls so that you can begin unwrapping in the opposite direction.
^repeat except switch everything around for Counter-Clockwise rotation.
If this isn't clear enough (because lets face it, typing out technical details of poi spinning is never all that clear) I could try to make a short video demonstrating. :P
ah ha. not what i was envisioning... now i want to do what i was envisioning
