The Fire Garden Users Guide

Your Profile (Community > My Profile)
The place to start. Please spend a couple of minutes filling out some info and uploading a picture. This is not only for your benefit, but ours too. Empty profiles are a good way to spot spammers!
You can move the main blocks on your profile around by clicking and dragging the header bars. Lay out your profile however you like!!

Member Map
Be sure to add yourself to the member map, and have a look fo other members in your area.

Email Notifications (Settings on current user box)
You can fully customize your e-mail notifications in the settings page. All notifications are on as default.

Photos
You can add photos to The Fire Garden from your computer, from your mobile email, or even from your Flickr account! Why not spend some time uploading what you have? Photos are a great talking point for new members.
When uploading photos, please take the time to fill out the name, information and tags on each picture. This allows the site to index them properly for others to find!

Videos
You can add video to The Fire Garden from your computer, from your mobile email, or even from your YouTube or Google Video accounts! As with the photos, please take the time to fill out all the information!

Music
You can add music to The Fire Garden from your computer, or by linking to music already on the net by clicking the Add Music button on your profile page. When on another user's profile, you can click the up arrow on the music player for extra options. These include adding songs to your own profile and popping the player out to continue listening after you leave the page.

Blogs
Every user is lucky enough to have thier very own blog on The Fire Garden. Use it to let other members know whats going on in your life, have a rant about something, or log your progress with learning and ask for help. Blogs can be great fun, so don't forget to have a look through the other users posts and leave some comments!

Clubs
The clubs feature was created to give you a chance to publicise your club (it doesn't have to be fire arts related). Every club will have its own club page that other users can become members of. You can then give out the club page address to anyone wanting to get more info.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD A CLUB IF YOU ARE NOT THE ORGANISER. Club page ownership cannot be transfered at a later date. Ask your club organiser to set it up if it doesnt exist. All new clubs will be approved by an admin to avoid misuse. The clubs section can also be used to create a group for your town/city. Please check one doesn't already exist!

Events
The events feature was created to give you a chance to publicise your event or gathering (it doesn't have to be fire arts related). Every event will have its own page that other users can join to indicate attendance. You can then give out the event page address to anyone wanting to get more info. If you believe there is a slim chance that the event organisers will be on this site to add it, then feel free to add it yourself. Please only do so if you have a basic description, location and website address to include.

Forum
The forum is a good place to have those in-depth discussions about absolutely anything! Get creative!

Advice
The advice section is overflowing with must-read articles. Get stuck in and learn a thing or two! If you are a more experienced member then why not submit your own articles to us for inclusion?

Lessons
This section needs no introductions! We are looking for quality lessons in a similar format for the other fire arts, get in touch!

Be sure to check out the badges (for embedding on other sites), and the invite page (for adding friends from any of your email accounts).
