- How did you first get into fire / glow arts, and how long have you been involved?
- I started off young at festivals practicing circus arts, such as Devil Stick, Spinning Plate, Hoop, Juggling, Diablo and Poi. Thinking back, I don't think I was overly good at them, I just had fun trying to teach myself. After a while, I stopped a few, my mum put the circus box away when we got our last car as the boot was far too small, but I managed to save a few things I knew I would practice, such as the Diablo (don't really do it anymore, lost the Diablo), and the Poi, which I'd brought myself, and I tried to get more into it.
And then a couple of years back, I started to attempt to do poi with glowsticks and started to buy L.E.D. poi balls/sticks. Im ok at it, I dont know many tricks but I have a lot of fun doing it.

- ahh thats cool :), i'm not too brilliant at the mo, tbh, i've never really done it around people, when i'm at fests, we're all pretty out of it, i don't think i am confident enough yet to do it with a group :P i'll keep it in mind though xD

- I spin with Combust, a semi pro group based in Leicester. Theres a decent sized group of spinners from DMU who spin at Bede on a Friday eve. It's good fun and the skills are pretty good, if you are interested you should head along sometime.
