Poi, Dancing

How did you first get into fire / glow arts, and how long have you been involved?

I've never been into fire/glow arts.... But I'm very interested in it that is why I joined this site... I Hope you guys can help me...

Tell us about your life outside of fire / glow arts...

I'm a dancer.... Lately I found interest in learning Poi, & eventually fire dancing... However, I'm just in the phase of learning it and I lack basic training & support. As of the moment, I purchased an instructional DVD from home of poi as a starting stuff. I hope someday I could smoothly collaborate my dancing prowess & Poi... Good luck to me!!!

My advice would be watch all of Nick Woolsey's videos on http://www.playpoi.com, watch all of Nathaniel Everist's videos on http://www.youtube.com/NathanielEverist, check out http://www.homeofpoi.com and ask around on here if there's something troubling you. There's so many resources online for learning and improving your skills.
