First Burn with First Poi set!
Its so exciting! :) My brother also had his first burn EVER on my Christmas poi. Pics up too! Thank you to my Dad for taking pictures and not freaking out like my Mom... lol!

- How did you first get into fire / glow arts, and how long have you been involved?
- I started trying to learn basic poi on my own about seven years ago when I saw people at raves spinning with glowsticks. About two years ago I really started practicing with led poi and flag poi, and finally had my first burn in October 2009.
- Tell us about your life outside of fire / glow arts...
- I am a student at Santa Monica College, studying Photography. I am into performance and have been dancing for three years. I hope to start learning Aerial Silk as soon as I can, and will be starting to practice my Hooping after a workshop Nov 22, 09.
