It`s been about one and half year
Tell us about your life outside of fire / glow arts...

Hi! Yeah I'm still in not-so-sunny Cumbria! Working hard at my job and even harder on making an incredibly special lady as happy as I can :-D

My spinning's been on the back-burner for a couple of months - Work's proving extremely time consuming, and I managed to wreck my car a month or so ago, so can't really travel at the minute :-/ Hoping to get back on the bandwagon soon as I can, though! Can't live without circles!!

How was Mallorca? How come you were over there?

I've added you on FB, by the way!

Hi there! Sorry for the insanely late reply just spotted your message! Yeah just let me know if you'll be around the area any time, and we may take you up on coming up to visit! Bring as many spinners as you like! It's always good meeting new people!

Yeah any of my friends who have been pretty much just went for the partying and said it was fantastic, and I'm a bit of a party monster when I get the chance :-D

I work as an IT Network Manager for a small local company. I don't actually have any qualifications, even though I've got years of experience with computers. I thank my lucky stars every day for the opportunity I've been given!

Like I say... Just PM me on here if you're ever gonna be around and we'll organise a spin somewhere really scenic!

That is actually very cool because i would be happy happy body to meet spinners:) And i am wondering that there`s not many ppl around me who i know because i just came a month ago here to study so it`d be good to get out of the city and meet some new people and have some fun:)...
i deffinitelly will let you know if i`d liketo come /actually i think my boyfriend would go with me as a picture-taker and poi bigginer :) .. /

and its the same for you when you will be comming one day up here :) the sea where i am living is beautiful too :)

You mentioned Prague ... well ,.. it is funny because or people hate it or they love it.. i love it.. i have many friends there so i love to go there and hang out for a while but not for too long:) there`s too many drugs and weed and drinking and partying which is cool but after a jurney to prague you always have to recover.. :) you should deffinitelly experience it... well on the other hand this makes the place sometimes dangerous as well as there are many social people and you really have to worry about your staff so they are not stolen.. but that you have everywhere in bigger cities i`d say..

need to go 4 now.. take care
Lucia
anyway what is that job you love so much??

I'm actually not that far away from you... Maybe 100 miles. I live in a small town called Penrith in the Lake District. Feel free to buzz me if you fancy coming down one weekend to spin. We've got a small, but great group of spinners here. We're always looking for people to spin with, and there's some beautiful scenery around here.

China was amazing. We were with a tour group, which kind of took away some of the magic, but still had a fantastic time. We started at Shanghai, then moved on to Hang Zhou, then Guilin, on to Yang Shou, Chengdu, Xian next then finally Beijing. Sooooo busy all the time, but had such a great experience. I'm planning to go back in a few years with some friends.

Like I say, I'd love to. I've recently had a lot of freedom given to me, so I'm planning on using free weekends and holiday time (I love my job, and wouldn't give it up for anything!) to do some impromptu travelling. Some of my friends have been to Prague and say it's a great city, so I think I might choose there first!

What are you studying?

Hi there! Just got your friend request, so sorry for the late reply. Have been holidaying in China for a few weeks, and busy ever since!

I'm from the UK, and hope to travel if I ever have the money to do so. I fully agree with your points on the world being over-commercial and damaged. I hope to emigrate to a nice calm place like New Zealand when I get sick of rushing about having fun. It can only be a good thing that there are more sheep than people there!
