- How did you first get into fire / glow arts, and how long have you been involved?
- Only been messing about with fire for a couple of years. Learnt a few poi tricks of an old friend and been fiddling about with it since she left for Beijing. I have just this week brought a contact juggling ball so hopefully i will be bale to master some of that!
Fire nights are brilliant, going down the city ruins or camping out with a few mates and a couple pots of parrafin. What more could a girl want??
- Tell us about your life outside of fire / glow arts...
- I'm a student at exeter college studying my A levels.
Im into all kinds of music, jazz, funk, electro, phsy trance etc.
I'm a big festie person been travelling them since i was tiny. Born with the festival bug!
Mainly on here to try and get some more spinners together for some nights out and meeting at festies. And to learn some new tricks coz im getting bored of what i know and i cant learn off youtube videos, need real people lol!

Festies!
just wondering if anyone would be up for gettting a group together to go to Waveform this year. Type Waveform into google and have a look at the website and see what you reackon. I went along last year and it is deffenetly a festival i would recommend for spinners. Great music to spin to! Great people! loads of spinners!

- Secret Garden Party was awesome last year, and so I hope to go again! It's a really spread out festival, with about 10,000 people, but things are happening absolutely everywhere. Loads of little music tents, art, events, and allsorts.
A huge free party isn't a bad thing to take the place of a cancelled festival :)

How's the bum a-healing?! Sounds like you had a fun time even with all the stitch-up nastiness happening. Gotta love the none-defeatable party spirit. My weekend was pretty cool....a friend has recently joined her boyfriends band and they were performing in an unsigned talant type gig thing so went and cheered her along. Other than that i've just been out in the garden trying to get my free-style going now I learnt the basics. Its wicked fun just really (really) want to be getting to the technical stage so I can incorporate at the waist wraps and btb moves. in time I guess....

So far plans for festies are stewarding at Glasto, Shambala and, guess what....Waveform woooo! Then I have gone all out and bought a ticket for Glade so I don't have to wear my sensible head for that :D

- I'm living near Brighton, but am from Surrey. It's really nice down here! There are a lot of people around here into fire/spinning/juggling type things, but it's pretty hard to get a group of them together. My current list of festivals/conventions (that are likely to involve a lot of spinning) is:
Firegathering
Southern Lights
European Juggling Convention
Secret Garden Party
British Juggling Convention
Bristol Juggling Convention
Will I see you at any of them? Firegathering is in just a couple of weeks, and I'm looking forward to a good start in summer festivities!
